Success Paradigm |

Note: While reading these propositions, if you feel disturbed, you may please skip to the An alternate method.
The core quality of consciousness is love. Love identifies the living as living. Dull or dead matter, on the other hand is devoid of the faculty of love.
Love exists for the sake of self-realization of the soul. Voluntary love, we notice, is exercisable only when an option not to love is available. Otherwise it would not be love, but forced-bondage.
Thus the faculty of 'choice' is made available to us. At all times we are free to choose our further course of action. When someone shouts at us, we may choose to smile or to frown back. By observing finely, we realize that we always have an option and that we are actively making choices in everything we do.
Does this mean that we can alter our destiny? It all depends on how we see destiny. While walking down the street, if we see an obstruction up ahead, we change our course and continue walking. Had we kept on going in the same direction, we may have hit the obstruction and been hurt. So did we really alter our destiny?
Take for example a computer game. When faced with a fork on the road, let us say we choose to turn left. We may then find a hospital in front of which 200 bonus points may be lying. If we had instead chosen to turn right, we might have then found a dark alley where there could have been thugs who could have cost us reduced 'life' and points. Both these 'destinies' were pre-programmed by the software programmer. Either way we would have met one of our pre-ordained destinies!
Long before we were born, milk was provided in our mother's breast. Not just food, but our clothing and shelter were also taken care of. Our entire destiny was ordained.
Meaning of conscious life as opposed to dead matter is, one who can choose. To facilitate the exercising of this faculty of individual intentionality, living entities are ordained with multiple destinies.
Destinies being multiple, we get to exercise our free-will and 'choose' to create a path of life for ourselves as we desire.
However the outcome of our choice at any given point of time is already pre-programmed by our creator. Thus, though our creator is always fully aware about what is in store for us, concurrently everything remains dynamic and driven by ourselves. That is why it is said that our future is what we make of it.
Think of a cow tied to a long rope and left to graze in the fields. The cow has all the freedom. It is free to go anywhere and graze on the succulent grass. The catch is, "as long as it is within the parameters defined by the length of the tether."
Look at this diagram. Let us take the mark of this color <the point on the left> to be the starting point. Here we have three options that we may choose from. What will happen on choosing each option is already predefined. Let us call this diagram--the destiny route-map. In the reality of life, this route-map will have zillions of nodes and a multitude of options at every node. The map will be so dense and multidimensional that with our eyes closed, if we had to randomly put a pin anywhere on this chart, in all probability we would put it somewhere on one of the routes of this map.
Presently that is how we make our goals and plan for our future--by blind guesswork.
Blind because we didn't pre-check whether our target is part of our pre-ordained destiny or not. Whimsically we end up assuming our goals and then we go about attempting to achieve them. "I want to marry so and so." "I had a strong inner urge to be a performing artiste." "I want to improve the living conditions of the destitute." "I think I would do good to start my own furniture factory."
A rail coach travels on rail-tracks. It cannot go where the rail-tracks don't go. Period.
The fact remains that our destinies are pre-ordained. Further, our freedom is only within the limits of our tether/leash. One may only go as far as the leash permits us to, and even within that, one can reach only there where the rail-track exists.
Yes, the rail coach may jump the track and travel on uncharted routes (like to the destiny of this color in the diagram above) <on the right side, the 4th point from top>, but such a journey may get unbearably difficult and self-damaging with complete loss of control in directing the route of the coach.
In the diagram let us say we assumed the destiny of this color <on the right side, the 3rd point from top> for ourselves. Since there are no rail-tracks leading to it, however much we try, we will never be able to reach it.
Even if we were to reach there by brute force, the journey would be an arduous one. Moreover, since this destiny is not part of our pre-ordained destinies, it would not stay with us for long either. Also, for the duration that it is there with us, we would have difficulty enjoying it to its fullest.
If we had assumed the destiny of this <on the right side, the 1st point> or this color <on the right side, the 2nd point from top> for ourselves then at least the possibility of achieving it would be certain. Furthermore, it would surely not only stay with us, but we would be able to relish it for life.
In a cycle race on city roads, as long as the participant is on the road that is part of the route decided by the race organizers, he or she will have access to all the facilities like drinking water with energy-replenishments like glucose, rejuvenation facilities like medical assistance and so on. The organizers also ensure that the route is kept clear for the racers.
The general public present would be happy to see the participants. Some may even enthusiastically cheer them along. When needed, they will happily go out of their way to provide any necessary assistance. Some would have come from far away with their families and friends to witness the event and some may take pictures too. A video coverage person may be travelling along side on the route. Name, fame, glory, job-satisfaction and facilities are all there on this route.
Now take a cyclist who has wandered away from the route that the race organizers had planned. On such a path, the contestant will find no facilities. In fact, in such a place the act of racing could even be an aggravation to others causing them to boo and jeer. The journey would be torturous, unsatisfying and with no guarantee of reaching the goal within the expected time.
Similarly in the journey of life, as long as we are on the rail-tracks of our pre-ordained destiny route-map, we will find all the facilities lined-up for us. We will meet the right contacts, find the facilities and all the necessary resources to achieve our goal. The journey will be pleasurable. We don't have to find any lack.
Always remember: Milk was provided for us even before our need for it existed.
However, as and when we wander away from the pre-ordained rail-tracks, our lives will be a difficulty not just for us, but also to others. Every step might lead us to deeper uncertainty.
To improve the possibility of achieving success, it is best that instead of whimsically assuming an un-ordained goal or destiny for ourselves, we select a goal that is on a rail-track in our destiny route-map.
The Silva Method gives us a technique called "Dream Control St-III" (Sanskrit: Swapna-adesh) that helps us detect such an amiable destiny.
The irony however is that even at times where our chosen destiny point is present in our destiny route-map, i.e., there already are rail-tracks that lead us to such a destiny point, there is still no assurance that we may actually ultimately reach that goal!
We could very well end up sabotaging our own destiny!
How is that?
Take this colored <on the right side, the 1st point> destiny point for instance. The route being unknown, we might mistakenly choose an improper diversion on the way; or may take inappropriate steps being misguided internally because of some predominating negative-thoughts within us, that may lead us to other destiny points than the one we deserved and desired!
Here is an example of destiny sabotage. In a job interview with a big multinational company in a new country, seeing your qualifications, the interviewer mentally fixes a salary package of a certain amount as your compensation. But since you have no job in hand at present, being desperate you quote a much lower figure than what they were planning to offer you. You just committed destiny sabotage!
The Silva Method teaches us right-brain techniques like Mental Counseling at the Creative Dimension of the Mind, Mirror of the Mind, Glass of Water technique, Mental rehearsals and the Three-finger technique to help us in our planning and execution of the right choices at the right time guided directly by our inner-conscious mind!
In this way we definitely find success by reaching our destiny point as seen in this colored <from the left point to the 2nd point from top> route in the diagram.
An intelligent person will now ask, "Hey, but there are so many pre-ordained destiny points available to me. With such a vast array of choices, how do I know which is the right one that will serve my best interests?"
Going to the school would be wrong for a student if he left home planning to go to the market. So we see that going to school is not the right choice or wrong choice by itself. It all depends on what one ultimately wants to achieve.
All the choices available to us in our destiny route-map are "right" for us. Choosing none of them would be wrong for us. Higher Intelligence doesn't provide us options that are detrimental to us.
Shadows come from the sun, but it is not the sun which is sending us the shadow, it is the obstruction which is blocking the sunlight that brings about the shadow. Similarly all that is pre-ordained in our lives are facilities, abundance, happiness and success. But our blocking of it by not using our right-brain, brings about lack, failure and misfortune.
On being aligned with the purpose of our life, the destiny that we may choose will be the "most right" of all the other right ones!
One morning, a school boy whom we will refer to as "Boy A" is asked by his mother to study chapter 7 and 8 in his Physics book. At breakfast, his mother gently reminds him to do his task. At noon as he is on the phone with his friend, his mother again reminds him about his home task. At lunch too he is reminded. In the afternoon as he sits watching TV he is again reminded of the pending home task. In the evening when he is going out to play, again comes a reminder from mom.
Later as night progresses, the nagging warnings slowly start turning into threats. At dinner time he has still not even begun his homework. Mother's tone and temperament are now really severe. After dinner he wants to catch his favorite cartoon show, but his time is over. His screaming mother pulls him by his ear and drags him to study.
"Boy A" is frustrated. All day his mother was on his case. He thinks, "I have such a nagging mother, always breathing down my neck. She just doesn't understand me. She is just not interested in my welfare. She has no idea about my happiness. Doesn't she have brains or what? This is my childhood, and if we don't play in childhood then when will we play?"
"Boy B" in his home, also gets the same task. But being a simple child, he doesn't take it seriously. In fact he doesn't even realize that he has been given some work to do! So the whole day long he keeps wondering why his mother is on his case so desperately. "What's her problem?", he wonders.
"Boy C" having been told the same thing by his mother, finishes everything by 9 in the morning. He is a good boy. Happily he goes to her and shows her his finished work. Mother is happy with him. The whole day as "Boy C" goes about chatting with friends, watching TV, playing games and doing other things, his Mom never comes back to him complaining. She has nothing to complain about and instead she is very pleased with her child. In the evening she volunteers to take him to his favorite mall and also treats him to a movie! The whole family is happy and at night they sleep in love and peace.
"Boy D" is also a good boy like "Boy C". But what he does instead, is right after receiving his home task, he innocently approaches his mother. Honestly he pleads, "My dear mother, please help me with my studies."
His mother is so happy that her son has come to her for help with his studies. She is overjoyed. Putting aside all her other work she sits with the child helping him in his studies. Thus the child finds a willing and expert help in finishing his job. His studies are done well and much faster.
We are born and we will also die. It is imperative that we find the preordained task set for us to fulfill in between. Although the common goal of existence is the same, each living being has definite growth areas that they need to work on. If we are not aware that there is something expected out of us in this life, then we are like "Boy B." However most of us fall into the category of "Boy A."
"Boys C and D" are those people who have identified the purpose of their lives. "C" type people go about fulfilling their purpose on their own, while the "D" type people surrender themselves to the Supreme Personality of Godhead and seek guidance from authorized and bonafide Spiritual Masters in fulfilling their purpose.
In any case, for these two categories of people, life is a picnic! Once the 'home task' is over, there is no need for the higher authorities to keep nagging them. Thus, then on they may find surprise pleasant gifts regularly coming their way. Life becomes a joy and they find (within ordained parameters) easy permission to do whatever they wish to do for the remainder of their lives!
The 7 clairvoyant steps of the Success Paradigm
Lets stop being social animals. Its time we got on to the platform of being social humans! Use more of your mind in a special way--the clairvoyant way of Jose Silva's Method. Success is guaranteed!
People with spiritual leanings are happy to realize that ultimately the will of the Higher Intelligence prevails. However, we do understand that not everyone may be comfortable with this paradigm. The above paradigm says that, we have a clearly defined limited reach to what and how much we can achieve.
If it sounds pessimistic and you are disturbed by it, we sincerely request you to kindly ignore this paradigm. It is not our intention to attempt reducing the richness of your life's experiences. Instead, you may please use the clairvoyant techniques of the Silva Method to forge ahead like a steady, swift moving, strong and well determined arrow towards your clear and concretely defined goals.
Step 1: Identify clear and concrete goals in various aspects of your life.
For example: Write down your goals in the area of Health, Family, Wealth, Education, Career, Spirituality, Social life etc.
Step 2: In each topic identify the necessary goals as Long term (lifetime goals), Mid term and Short term goals.
Step 3: Use the necessary Silva Method techniques to
Remember:
One who fails to plan, is planning to fail!
Best wishes and best of luck.
Wishing you better and better success!
