The story of Jose Silva — the mind behind The Silva Method — is one of the world’s greatest success stories. During his lifetime, Jose Silva was a businessman, athlete, artist, educator, scientist, philosopher, and the founder of The Silva Method.

After starting his business career at the tender age of six, this self-educated man would eventually work his way up and become a well-respected businessman, establish an electronics training school in his hometown Community College, design and receive patents for several biofeedback instruments, and write over a dozen books that would reach over two dozen countries.

He spent his entire lifetime developing his creative and intuitive abilities and teaching others to find their own abilities within themselves.

Silva spent over 20 years studying great minds, researching the human condition, and developing self-help programs before unveiling his findings. Silva’s research findings – The Silva Method — first made its way to the public eye in 1966. Today his life’s work is being presented in over 30 languages in 180 countries. Silva served as Chairman of the Board of The Silva Method up until 1999, when he passed away peacefully in his home.

Jose Silva's personal message

Dr. Bimol Rakshit received his Graduation and Post Graduation from the Institute of Psychorientology. Laredo, Texas, USA. He has also received many other awards from Silva International Convention (Participated by 107 countries). Dr. Rakshit received the outstanding First Year Lecturer - Aug' 1992, Special Project Award - Aug' 92, outstanding Second Year Lecturer - Aug' 93 and the 9th Runner up for World Cup (Silva International Lecturers award Aug' 94).

Under instruction of Dr. Jose Silva, Dr. Bimmal Rakshit brought the Silva Method to India. Teaching Silva Mind Control Method's Basic and the Ultra training and counseling individuals is his main Profession. He is also responsible for training and creating Silva Lecturers for India.

Apart from all this he continues to practice Architectural Vaastu - consultancy and teaching Architecture.

A personal message from Mr. Avadhut Das

Total of 22 years of hands-on experience in the industry with Marketing, Training & Consulting (in inter-personnel, personal & business growth through mind-power techniques) to Corporate houses, Legal firms, Hospitals, Schools, Colleges, Sports Institutions and individuals. Mr. Das has also trained select India's elite Commandos, Defense and Para-military Service personnel.

In the IT field, Avadhut at one time had independent charge of running an Indian multinational IT company's New Delhi branch. The responsibilities ranged from recruitment to business development, sales & marketing, Customer support, Web architecture, Project management, Systems Analysis, Design, Development & Testing. Indeed - the works.

In the Bhaktivedanta Institute Mumbai & Berkeley (San Francisco) Mr. Das' job responsibilities included coordinating the IT services of the institute, (The institute apart from the internationally recognized research & colloquiums, conducts M.S. and PhD program in Consciousness Studies in collaboration with BITS, Pilani). In the institute, Mr. Das produced presentations and educational videos and developed the institute's website www.bvinst.edu. With gratitude Mr. Das' spiritual-self remains inspired by the personality, thoughts and life of Dr. Ravi Rasaraja dasa Gomatam, the director of the Bhaktivedanta Institute.

Avadhut Black Belt in Tae Kwon Do and a National Champion.

Avadhut is also a signed artiste with Milestone Music Company [Currently “Free Spirit Music”] with his own released music album. Till date he is the only performing artist ever invited to represent India in the European Woodstock Festival at Zary, Warclaw [Warsaw], Poland (2001.)

For spiritual enquiry, Mr. Avadhut Das has undergone a five years full time residential training in comparative Vedas, comparative religious, and comparative philosophies studies specializing in "Achintya Bheda-Abheda Tattva" - the Vedic philosophy of "simultaneous oneness and difference" propounded by Shri Chaitanya Mahaprabhu, under the Spiritual tutelage of H.G. Rasaraja dasa, H.H. Giriraja Swami and H.D.G. AC Bhaktivedanta Swami Prabhupada of the Brahma-Madhva-Gaudiya Sampradaya. Mr. Das is a certified VTE Bhakti Shastri trainer. He also conducts Vedanta related courses on Bhagavad-gita, Bhakti-Rasamrita-Sindhu, Brahma-Samhita, Isopanishad and Srimad Bhagavatam.
