Using a machine called Electroencephalograph (EEG) we can measure our brain wave
frequency.
It is seen that when we are awake and aware, our brain frequency is upwards of
14 cycles per second (CPS). Scientists call this range of frequencies the Beta
brain wave frequencies. When we fall asleep our brain frequency reduces below 14
CPS.
The brain frequencies up to 4 CPS are known as the Delta frequencies, between 4
to 7 CPS as the Theta frequencies and 7 to 14 as the Alpha brain wave
frequencies.
Human brain has two hemispheres, the left and the right. It is observed that at
Beta frequencies our right brain hemisphere is unable to function at its optimal
level while at Alpha and Theta frequencies the left brain hemisphere is the one
which normally losses it’s optimal functionality. Science has differing opinion
about what goes on at the Delta frequencies. We do know that when someone is in
coma usually their brain frequency is in Delta.
Coming to the topic of mind, let us see where we could exercise self mind
control. It is seen that many times we want to do something but are unable to be
good at it. We experience having almost no control over our mind, like having
poor memory and concentration. We may at times take a decision to do something
but rapidly loose motivation or interest in doing it. Upon having an injury or
ill health we are unable to exercise our mind to help in rapid recovery. In life
when hurt or faced with failure, we tend to go into self-pity, self-abuse,
depression or stress. Here instead of our mind giving us strength we may find it
to be the cause of our further being tied down in misery.
We may have mental blockages or a certain belief system that may be holding us
from realizing our full potential. Because of a person’s present state of mental
disposition, our communication may not always reach that person the way we would
like them to understand. This happens a lot within a family and also many times
at work. There are times when we are unable to arrive at a strong decision or
are unable to be assertive where we should be. We ourselves or our loved ones
may be caught in a health sapping habit/addiction. But our mind doesn’t always
help us in coming out of it.
In all these we see that we don’t have a strong mind control. Research points to
a certain brain frequency where using specific faculties of our right brain we
are able to effectively communicate with our inner conscious mind to ‘reprogram’
ourselves from the very inside! We are able to make things happen not only in
our inner world but influence changes also in the outer world.
So in essence, the Silva Method training empowers a person to use their thought
to reduce their brain frequency to enter the centre of Alpha frequencies level
and to dynamically use the energy of thoughts in a special way to manifest the
positive reality that we deserve and desire in the best interest of all
concerned.

Silva Method program is a focused-thinking program designed to help you reach your desired goals in health, education, relationships, business and sports.
The Silva Method program is a scientifically-proven conditioning process that has stood the test of time. Sixteen progressive exercises help you obtain the mental edge necessary to accomplish your desired goals. They steadily help you increase your ability to remain focused and direct your thinking. With your expanded, creative and innovative thoughts you learn to develop essential elements required to achieve any success in life.
Did you know that the average person can only focus on one thought for six to eleven seconds at a time? Test yourself by closing your eyes and focus your thinking on a short-term goal for ten seconds. Note the percentage of time you were able to keep focused without being distracted. Now try it again; this time, focus on your long-term goal for 30 seconds. Take a percentage once again and compare it to the amount of time you spend working to achieve your goals. The Silva objective is to help you achieve your goals sooner by decreasing your distraction time. This is your first step.
Did you also know that allowing unwanted negative influences to enter into our thoughts prevent us from accomplishing our goals sooner than we desire? Test yourself by focusing on your surroundings for two minutes. Evaluate the quantity of positive and negative elements around you. The Silva objective is to help you better manage the enormous quantity of information that you confront daily. This is step two.
Do you limit yourself everyday to logical, analytical thinking and suppress your creative, innovative, “out-of-the-box” thoughts? Test yourself by taking three minutes to bring to mind a picture of your daily activities. Keep in mind that all goals are different so each requires individual attention. Take time to consider your goals about your health, business, education, and relationships with others.
Do you continue doing the same old things, and end up with the same old results? The Silva objective is to help you obtain better results by reacquainting you with your creative and innovative thinking processes. This is step three.
Do you spend most of your time living in the past or in the future? Test yourself by taking a few minutes to think about something pleasurable. There is no limit to where our thoughts can take us. However, one thing is certain; we only have physical control of our life in the here and now—the present. The Silva objective is to help you enjoy the present, every moment of your life. This is step four.
Do you recognize how powerful you are? Test yourself by taking some time to think about an inspirational writer or a motivational speaker who literally lights up a room, leaving everyone so invigorated that, much later, you can still feel the energy. However, as the days go by, like a plane without a pilot, you end up crashing back into your old thinking patterns.
Don’t worry; you are not alone. Many people brag about being successful but few ever show you how they do it. The Silva objective is to help you discover a solid focused-thinking belief system. This is step five.
All our Certified Silva Method Instructors are knowledgeable about dealing with problems in their own particular field. Each brings to the Silva Method their love of humanity and fresh approach to life. This combination makes them unique, which turns your Silva learning experience into a singular sensation—every time you take the program.
Your initial investment entitles you to refresh our program, tuition-free for a lifetime, anywhere it is presented. When you retake the program with a different instructor you will get to do the conditioning exercises again and gain new creative ideas for finding solutions. Your next instructor might be an artist or a writer, a doctor or a lawyer, a nun or a teacher, a movie producer or an actor, a yogi or a horse whisperer.
Silva is not about motivation or magic. It is about maintaining a strong, productive mental fitness. Can you afford to go through life without it?
